Theme: Present Simple.

Beginning of the lesson.

 

Phonetic drill.

Look at the board, please. You see some sounds there, let’s repeat them:

[b], [r], [e], [ei]

Now look at the words with these sounds. Let’s read them.

In, a, bakery, bread, A, bank, bakes, baker.

Try to make up a toung-twister with these words.

A baker bakes bread in a bakery.

  4. d) Verbs Of The Senses And Mental Processes. Ex: This doesn’t taste very good, does it?

The present simple tense is used for many verbs of thinking, feeling and sensing. The most common words are:
